Dr Caitlin Harwyne

Meet Caitlin

Caitlin Harwyne

Doctor of Chinese Medicine & Registered Acupuncturist (B.Hsc)

Caitlin has always had an interest in healing and started her study of Chinese Medicine by enrolling in a Diploma of TCM remedial massage in 2014. She loved the philosophy behind the medicine and the holistic view on health and was determined to learn more. She continued her study of Chinese Medicine by completing my Bachelor of Health Science (Chinese Medicine) at Southern School of Natural Therapies while working with and observing experienced practitioners.

She is a gentle practitioner who aims to work with traditional and evidence-based methods to get the best results. In Chinese Medicine, physical, emotional and environmental health are all connected, and our in-depth questioning allows us to determine the imbalance between these factors. As well as treating the acute signs and symptoms, Caitlin aims to understand the root cause of your health concerns and will work with you to make realistic and sustainable lifestyle changes to help you achieve your health goals.

Your treatment may consist of:

  • Acupuncture
  • Chinese herbal medicine
  • Cupping
  • Moxibustion
  • Massage

Caitlin enjoys the diversity of general practice but has a keen interest in the areas of pain, women’s health at all stages of life, digestive health, as well as mental and emotional wellbeing.

Caitlin is registered under Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of The Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA). She is covered by all major health funds and her patients are eligible for private insurance rebates on Acupuncture & Massage consultations.
